I am pleased to announce Roots Forward is featuring a special limited edition T shirt from talented New York City artist Steve Vializ(Cas) entitled “Old School Hip Hop”. Shirt features all the elements of hip hop in one stunning design…. Shirt is limited to 100 only. First 20 shirts will be hand signed by the artist, next 80 will be standard issue. Shirt is available in BLACK ONLY. All shirts are ordered to size. Cost is $40 for the standard issue, $60 for the hand-signed. Please add an additional $4 for XXL or XXXL sizes. Cas has poured his heart and soul into this beautiful work of art and I am pleased to make it available to my customers. Pre-orders are now live in the shop section of the site. Roots Forward Release Announcement This Friday!

Happy New Year! 2012 promises to be an exciting year for Roots Forward as we prepare to unleash 4 vinyl projects, along with a few special music related projects that are in the works as well. This Friday Roots Forward will be releasing information on the 2nd label release which will be an early 90′s gem being released again as a limited edition 7″ single. There will also be a special giveaway this Friday to 5 lucky newsletter subscribers, who will walk away with complimentary copies of this latest release. If you haven’t done so yet, please sign up for the newsletter to get up to date info on releases and be eligible for free product giveaways! Also, thanks again for all the support on the Craig G/Marley Marl collaboration. All the orders have now been shipped and most of you already have this great wax in your hands(or should very soon). There are some copies of the black vinyl still available, but they are almost gone, so be sure to snag a copy before it is too late.
